About the Retreat

These retreats are held in one of the most beautiful spots in the whole New Forest. Nestled in the heart of the forest, with Lamas and Deer on the doorstep. The house is like a dream with lots of room to spread out and plenty of little nooks to tuck yourself away in. The 10 yoga and meditation sessions will be woven into the weekend leaving plenty of time to enjoy the many other attractions nearby. These include trails into the New Forest, the coastal walks and quaint little hamlet within walking distance with a shop and fabulous pub. The weekends are the perfect place and time to really get in touch with whatever nourshes your soul.

feel good ethics

I have the same conscious commitment to be as eco, ethical, and socially aware as possible, because a retreat for you should make the world a better place for everyone!

We are doing this by supporting farmers by using their local produce in all the meals, giving to offset your travel to and from the retreats, using only ethical eco products during the retreats (where covid allows), we are able to truly make a difference.

I am commited to sustainable energy and solutions that create change, and most importantly supporting local food banks and charities to survive in this crazy time. And this venue is no different, by staying here we are able to support a trust in assisting young adults with learning difficulties to learn life skills and live independantly.

About the Yoga

We will make space to breathe and expand our connection to ourselves. Using the unique spaces in the gardens for sessions. The bespoke themes for each weekend, the yoga sessions and guided meditations are all interwoven with a deep awareness and responding to the needs of the group. So no retreat is ever the same.

Each group has the chance to direct the pace and direction of the sessions. For example one weekend the theme maybe say “negate the negative” and the group is a strong bunch of ashtangis, so the retreat will end up being a stronger physical one with lots of meditation still snuck in when they are too tired to argue!

Or the group might be more mixed and then it would respond to that energy with more journaling and group work. It really depends on people, you! But there is always an afternoon workshop, and plenty of time to explore different styles and levels within the yogic system.

The retreats start at 4pm Friday giving you time to drive or catch the train (nearest Stns Ashurst/Brockenhurst) and end on the Sunday at 1.30pm.

There will be fabulous masseuses on hand to offer a helping hand relaxing, including Indian head massages and mani/pedi as well as facials along with the many other massage styles (30 for £30 and 60 for £55).

About the Weekend

Firstly, you are introduced to your fellow retreaters, with a vegan treat. Then you will start with some journaling, and intension setting, then a physical practice which be theme dependant which maybe in the grounds or in a followed by a relaxation before a wonderfully warming homegrown and homemade dinner.

After you will have an hour or two to enjoy the grounds, get a massage, get out into the forest, or just relax by the fire before bed.

On the Saturday we will start with  a morning meditation and then a light breakfest and walk over the yoga hall, if weather is kind sometimes it is done outside. After this long morning session you are welcome to wander off into the forest and help yourselves to the lovely bright hearty lunch whenever you come back. Then later we will come back to session with bit of group work and some contemplations followed by another yoga practice and end with either a deep relaxation or a related meditation. The day finishes with dinner and the chance to walk over the local pub to soak up some of the lovely country vibes. Or just relax at the house with your new or old friends.

Sunday is started witht the optional early meditation, and light breakfest then a final yoga and meditation session followed by lunch and goodbyes and treats.
