Eco Farm Weekend Retreats

This year we have a fabulous new yoga shala on the farm with views across the orhards.

This retreat been added to the Guardians list of 10 best yoga retreats in UK and Europe 2019/20 and had a sell out year during the non-lock down parts of 2020/21.. 2022 was another awesome one, with “The Beautiful South Tourism Awards” checking us out and Joining New Forest Marque!

We were featured by SWR as top retreat in the southwest, and also included in the EuroStars guide to top retreats in Europe.

And in 2023 we are only going to get better! We are always improving what we have at the farm, with a new purpose build new studio coming this spring, in its own Zen garden along with a massage room/Sauna/Steam room later in the year!

BookRetreats has also featured my retreats as one of the top 10 in the world! And not to mention most instagramable, which is definitely a weird one for a retreat promoting a digital detox!

Our very own Shepherdess Hut for those who prefer to be out in nature only available March to November.

A Sleeping loft for those fearless yogis (accessed via a very high metal ladder).

Here are the full list of dates, all retreats will have their own unqiue theme and topics are interwined within the whole weekend to include the food we eat to the way we practice and meditate without dogma. They run from Friday 4pm till after lunch around 1pm on the Sunday.

The Yoga Practice

Two yoga classes will be taught each day. These classes will be open to all levels. While building strength and flexibility over the 3 days, these Vinyasa Krama classes will prioritise the development of breath and incorporate elements of chanting, pranayama and meditation.

We will make space to breathe, and expand our connection to ourselves. Using unique and bespoke themes for each weekend, the yoga sessions and guided meditations are all interwoven with a deep awareness and responding to the needs of the group. So no weekend is ever the same. Each group has the chance to direct the pace and direction of the sessions. For example one weekend the theme maybe say “negate the negative” and the group is a strong bunch of ashtangis, so the retreat will end up being a stronger physicial one with lots of meditation still snuck in when they are too tired to argue! Or the group might be more mixed and then it would respond to that energy with more journaling and group work. It really depends on people, you! with plenty of time to explore different styles and levels within the yogic system.

We intend to create an environment in which you can truly drop off the grid and recharge in nature. and really engage with your surroundings and fellow yogis for a weekend of deep restoration (you will be asked to give up your digital toys- phones/laptops etc. But remember everything is always optional).

The yoga and meditations are done in the barns or in local venues depending on numbers for the retreats, or where possible outside.

Nova really made this weekend into a wonderful experience and not just the great yoga! She radiates loving energy and helps you think about the wider context of your life, whilst cooking up some wonderful food and inspiring some great conversation! Alongside the yoga (some slow and yin and some faster and energetic) we took a dip in the sea, enjoyed getting into some tree hugging and I found out how much I like to Om! And yet it all felt very grounded and normal. Thanks so much Nova!
