15-17 June 2018 £220 per person with a private kingsize bed in your log pod. Max 2 per pod.
Come enjoy the great doors with eco-cred glamping in log pods in the New Forest. Forget cold wet tents, and weeing in the bushes. We have a green option without the painful hippy stuff.
The wooden camping Pods are sustainable and environmentally friendly with solar panels. The log pods are the ideal private space for sleeping and relaxing in after a long day of activity (with yoga and meditation being just some of the many things on offer during this weekend-climbing, high, low ropes, archery, horse riding, mountain biking, walking, sailing), and all have access to an outdoor fire pit, for campfires and barbecues.
This retreat is based in the heart of the New Forest next to the village of Brockenhurst. We are ideally situated allowing easy access to many of the New Forests natural and man made attractions. With our venues fields providing 14 acres of quality camping in a relaxed rural setting, yet we’re only a 10-15 minute walk to the local village and a mainline train station.
This weekend will be semi-catered by our chef, because you have such a lot to explore on your doorstep you may choose to walk the ten minutes into Brockenhurst and try some of the lovely restaurants or Pubs on the Friday night or just create your own masterpiece on the BBQ and there will be a beautiful bunch and vegetarian BBQ on the Saturday night, and a closing lunch picnic (weather permitting).
We intend to create an environment in which you can truly drop off the grid and recharge in nature. and really engage with your surroundings and fellow yogis for a weekend of deep restoration (you will be asked to give up your digital toys- phones/laptops etc -not least because there is no charging point. But remember everything is always optional -you can always find a pub to plug in).
Let’s take this retreat to focus on what is most important to us, to our health, to our hearts, to our peace of mind.
On these retreats, the mornings include a early mediation then practice sessions that start with gentle stretching and pranayama (breathing exercises) building gradually into a flow practice, suitable for all levels of ability. In the afternoon, there are optional walks, massages, and workshops. The gentler evening sessions of Yin with the focus on relaxation and release, promoting harmony, healthy immune functioning and improving overall vitality. We will aim to do as many of the sessions outside as possible, but we will have a warm room to retreat to if the weather wins.
The weekends include shared double or single accommodation, tasty and healthy vegetarian meals and snacks. All the herbal tea you can drink, and many holistic treatments may also be arranged with our onsite Masseuse (at a special reduced rate)
