This weekend offers some unique opportunities to combine your love of yoga with chances to try almost anything else outdoorsy. There are hundreds of bike trails through the forest on the door step, horse riding, to name but a few. There are plenty of walking opportunities in the area. Just 5 minutes walk is the village of Pilley with 2 outstanding pubs and less than 2 miles away is the stunning Lymington with a lots of great pubs and restaurants . With real eco credentials, it is currently featured in the Guardian as “Pure Luxury in the Forest” This Farmstay is like no other. With fresh veg for the picking, a 180 acre family-run farm and has been certified organic by the Soil Association since 1996. As well as being a great place to live and farm it is a wonderful location to stay in their luxury converted barns. You will connect body and mind as we play in and outdoors. Then come back to your cosy, warm fires at the end of a full day. Make most of that sweet well-earned tiredness that comes from being truly engaged in life, and jump into the roll-top bath.
The Grain Loft raises excitement levels with a walk on window – you can see down into the nursery stable below which, depending upon the time of year has freshly hatched chicks, Snowgoose goslings, Swiss Valais lambs or Boer kids being born. The other unique feature is the hay mattress beds in stall partitions, and the cosiness factor is increased further by liberal use of sheep skins from our own flock.
The original pulley system is still in place, but instead of hauling up hessian sacks of grain to be stored, we have draped a cluster of light bulbs through it.
